We have been together for a while now, but there are still things about him that get my motor running. He has been by my side since day one and has always loved and cared for me the same way that I have loved and cared for him. I have been in a long relationship before, but it seems like after a while things got boring and there was nothing to do in the relationship except for call each other names and point out each other faults. This is one of the things I love my man for.
He is always coming up with something new and exciting to keep the relationship fresh. Sometimes we go to the park, sometimes we stay in and watch a movie on the couch, but no matter what we do I always feel good because I know he is right by my side. He mixes things up and every now and then we go out to a night club. We always have a blast drinking on the dance floor while listening to our favorite artists’ make the club come to life. I love my man because he is always shaking things up instead of doing the same things every day.
Another reason why I love my man is because he is always making me laugh. There are a lot of stressful situations that I find myself in everyday, so it is always nice to relieve that stress by listening to him tell me something funny. The things he says and does are enough to turn anyone’s bad day into a much better day in an instant.
I love my boyfriend a whole lot and truly do not feel that there is another man like him in this world. If you ever have that feeling about someone that you are with I highly suggest that you hang on to him. You never know where or when your soul mate will enter your life, but when he does you will hopefully hang on to him forever. I love my man with all my heart and know he feels the same way about me. Our relationship has not reached that boring point where we start calling each other names and pointing out the bad things about each other and I hope it never will.
I’ve been with my man since we were Freshman in college. We meet in the girls dorm while hanging out with another girlfriend… but wanted to agree in that a sense of humor is so very much needed in a relationship. Jay always has a goofy way about him, in fact when we first meet I kinda thought he was VERY obnoxious… but after getting to know him I see how wonderful his heart is for me and his love for life. Oh, and as far as mixing things up, one little ritual we have is that he randomly will “snail mail” me greeting cards out of the blue. Just a “I’m thinking of you!” type of gesture. Its very sweet!
